Statement of Faith:
ECLA subscribes to the following doctrinal statement:
† We believe that the Bible is inspired by God and is the only infallible and authoritative guide for faith and practice.
† We believe that there is one God eternally existing in a divine Trinity - the Father, the Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
† We believe in the virgin birth of our Lord Jesus Christ and in His sinless life, His miracles, His sacrificial death, His bodily resurrection and ascension, and His personal, visible return to earth.
† We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he fell from this condition and is lost in sin and needs to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ
† We believe the Holy Spirit indwells the Christian and enables him to mature in his Christian life.
† We believe in the resurrection of the dead and future judgment and that the righteous shall have everlasting life and the un-regenerated shall have everlasting punishment.
